Summary
Late 19th century "Panayia's Church", covered in a thick layer of Gothic decoration copied from the great medieval cathedrals of Famagusta and Nicosia.
The Church was converted in a mosque and is under the control of the turkish army since the turkish invasion of Cyprus in 1974 and the ethnic cleansing of the North Part of the Republic of Cyprus.
