Cruel Palace - War of Flowers (Hangul: 궁중잔혹사 – 꽃들의 전쟁; RR: Gungjungjanhoksa - Ggotdeul-ui Jeonjaeng) is a 2013 South Korean historical television series starring Kim Hyun-joo,[1] Lee Deok-hwa, Song Seon-mi, Jung Sung-mo, Jung Sung-woon, Kim Joo-young, Go Won-hee, and Jun Tae-soo. It aired on jTBC from March 23 to September 8, 2013 on Saturdays and Sundays at 20:45 for 50 episodes.
Kim Hyun-joo was nominated for Excellence Award, Actress at the 2013 APAN Star Awards.
Contents
Plot
The period drama centers around royal concubine Lady Jo as she tries to gain the attention of King Injo with her beauty and wit. When she succeeds, there is a bloody battle over the power she receives.[2]
