Ala kiyiz

Ala kiyiz (Kyrgyz: ала кийиз, [ɑlɑ kijíz]) or tekemet (Kazakh: текемет, [ti̯ɘki̯ɘmi̯ɘ́t]) is a textile floor- or wall-covering made by pressing felt of various colours (often naturally different, and not dyed) together. This is a traditional textile among the Kazakhs and Kyrgyz.[1]
